Smoke alarms
Smoke alarms cannot be recycled or disposed of in your local council’s kerbside rubbish or recycling bin, box or bag. Smoke alarms can be brought to your local Household Waste Recycling Centre.
*If possible please remove the battery from the alarm.
HOUSEHOLD WASTE FACTS:
- Most household waste types can be recycled or disposed of at local Household Waste Recycling Centres.
- If you have a question about a type of household waste call Tel: 0151 255 1444 or email: enquiries@merseysidewda.gov.uk to check before travelling to a Centre.
- If your item is still in useable condition, why not donate it to a local charity shop or community group?
