Jam jars can be recycled of in your local council’s kerbside recycling bin, box or bag, or be recycled at your local Household Waste Recycling Centre.

GLASS FACTS:

• There are some types of glass such as Pyrex, oven-proof glass and drinking glasses that can't as they are designed to withstand higher temperatures when being recycled.
• Make sure your glass bottles and jars are empty and rinse out the remaining food or liquid.
• Put lids back on glass items, and remove any spray triggers if possible.
