Hygiene products cannot be recycled in your local council’s kerbside recycling bin, box or bag.

Used hygiene productscan be disposed of in your rubbish bin.

PAPER FACTS :

  • Paper products are some of the most valuable recyclable materials.
  • It's better if the paper products are clean - so look out for stains such as grease, food, paint, dirt, etc. or any plastics or coatings - they could affect if the paper can be recycled or not.
  • Paper envelopes with clear windows CAN be recycled in your kerbside recycling collection.
  • Shredded paper cannot be recycled as the paper fibre size is too small - this should be placed in your normal waste bin.
