Garden Waste

Ceramic flower / plant pots cannot be recycled or disposed of in your local council’s kerbside rubbish or recycling bin, box or bag.

GARDEN WASTE FACTS:

• Garden waste, such as grass cuttings, weeds, prunings and leaves, can be recycled at all of Merseyside's and Halton's Household Waste Recycling Centres.
• Most councils run a kerbside collection scheme for green and garden waste - some charge for the service so please check directly in your area.
• Don't include bricks, rubble or excess soil in your green and garden waste bin.
• We are currently offering subsidised Compost Bins for residents across the LCR to help reduce waste. Find out more here
