Used engine oil
Engine oil cannot be recycled or disposed of in your local council’s kerbside rubbish or recycling bin, box or bag, or poured down drains. Used engine oil can be recycled at your local Household Waste Recycling Centre.
AUTOMOTIVE WASTE FACTS:
- Some automotive waste is recyclable and some needs to be disposed of safely.
- Small amounts of automotive waste can be put into the kerbside residual bin provided by your council.
- Larger and more specialist items can be taken to your local Household Waste Recycling Centre.
