Glass cookware
Glass cookware cannot be recycled in your local council’s kerbside recycling bin, box or bag. Glass cookware can be disposed of in your rubbish bin or brought to your local Household Waste Recycling Centre.
GLASS FACTS:
- There are some types of glass such as Pyrex, oven-proof glass and drinking glasses that can't as they are designed to withstand higher temperatures when being recycled.
- Make sure your glass bottles and jars are empty and rinse out the remaining food or liquid.
- Put lids back on glass items, and remove any spray triggers if possible.
