Glass milk bottles
Glass milk bottles cannot be recycled or disposed of in your local council’s kerbside rubbish or recycling bin, box or bag. Glass milk bottles should be returned to your milk supplier.
GLASS FACTS:
- There are some types of glass such as Pyrex, oven-proof glass and drinking glasses that can't as they are designed to withstand higher temperatures when being recycled.
- Make sure your glass bottles and jars are empty and rinse out the remaining food or liquid.
- Put lids back on glass items, and remove any spray triggers if possible.
